Research shows that over30% of the British population injure themselves when tackling some sort of home improvement. The solution to make sure it doesn’t happen to you is quite simple:

The latest figures from SAGA show that one in ten over 50 have tried to tackle a major home improvement project themselves. With a third of them injuring themselves during the work.
Andrew Leech, managing director at the National Home Improvement Council, said that such jobs should be left to the experts.
“There are certain things which the average DIY person can do without any problem at all, but if they are talking about major projects such as roofing, plumbing, electrical installations and so on, then really they should involve a professional.”
“Not only from the point of view of getting the job done well, but also from a safety point of view too.”
